Genome-wide identification and characterization of grapevine UFD1 genes during berry development and salt stress response

Abstract Grapevine ( Vitis vinifera ) is widely applicated in food industry, which shows high economical and nutritional values. However, growth of grapevine was usually affected by various environmental stresses, such as salt, drought disease. Ubiquitin fusion degradation protein 1 (UFD1) an essential ubiquitin-recognition facilitates regulation stress response through ERAD pathway. Even though, a comprehensive investigation UFD1 genes the plant species still lacking. Here we identified three VvUFD1 proteins from genome grapevine, were assigned into different subgroups. All contain highly conserved motifs structure. Several cis -elements that related to fruit development found promoter regions genes, including bHLH, NCA, MYB, HD-ZIP, GATA AP2. Expression analysis showed expression patterns tissues. Most importantly, be involved salt during grapevine. Transcriptomic analyses investigated for further understanding genes’ function. increased at late stage berry ripening.
